The work refers to the series „The foundation of tea drinkers,liberals and form lovers” (2015).
Part of this series will be exhibited in a site specific installation in the exhibition called “ğ – queere Formen migrieren” at the Schwules Museum in Berlin in 2017.
Further the work also refers to the word ”mansplaining” and the book „Men explain things to me” by Rebecca Solnit:
”Who would ever write a fable as obvious, as heavy handed as the story we’ve been given.”
