Koxette celebrate the „21st Century Decay“

Baumusik for China

KoxetteUntil recently Caroline Kox and Antonio de Luca were best known for their avant-garde outfit Colorist, with which they’ve collaged together experimental, electronic music. But take note: they’ve now re-imagined the colour aspect of Colorist to create Koxette – a new full-spectrum pop project.

I’m not saying you can’t still sense their background in Neue Musik and contemporary dance music, but, as the videoclip to “21st century migraine” makes clear, with Koxette they are definitely in the mood for a fantastic ride into a dystopian future.

The album „21st Century Decay“ comes out in early 2018 on Cologne label Baumusik. And if this is not already news enough, things get even wilder: to promote the label and their new project Caroline Kox and Antonio de Luca are going to tour China for the first time, alongside label acts Zo-On Slows, Roland Kaiser Wilhelm and Jeandado to showcase the “rhizomatic type of collective adventure” Baumusik is. So we asked, what do you expect from China, Koxi?
“Emotional dysfunction. Advantageous events. Marked impulsivity.”
