モエレ沼公園 / Moerenuma Park by Noguchi Isamu

Moerenuma Park (Japanese モエレ沼公園), located in the Higashi-ku district of Sapporo, the capitol of Hokkaido, was conceived and designed by architect and sculpture artist Noguchi Isamu (who died sadly on 30th of December 1988, shortly before the opening).

There are only a few individual sculptures by Noguchi Isamu within the park as the whole park is one big sculpture, a perfect example for the unity of nature and art.
