Parenthesis “The Betsey Gets Me”

Following the Betsy Trotwood Tapes I by myself, I am happy to share the second tape coming in by no other than Mr. Tim Benton. Please listen what he has to say to his song:

“I miss the nightlife, and like so many small music venues, the Betsey Trotwood on the Farringdon Road in London faces an uncertain future. So when I was asked to put together a track to help it to stay alive after the long long lockdown, I wrote this track, recorded it, and and made the accompanying video in less than 24 hours. The track opened and closed Satirday’s ‘We Love The Betsey’ online fund raising festival. They say that song’s that are from the heart are the easiest to write, this one came direct and laser guided.”
