Deep Talk Technoschamanism II: knowbotiq

“The work was triggered because someone told us that there are many people in Zurich who – even if they only have small gold bars – sit on them naked because they give off such pleasant vibrations.”
(Christian Huebler, knowbotiq)

The exhibition “Technoschamanism” is currently on view at the Hartware Medienkunstverein in Dortmund (HMKV). It shows the works of twelve artists who intensively deal with neo-shamanistic practices.

In a three-part video editorial series, Kaput approaches the topic in conversations with the director of the HMKV Inke Arns, who also curated the exhibition, the Dortmund artist duo Jana Kerima Stolzer & Lex Rütten, and the Swiss artist duo knowbotiq ((Yvonne Wilhelm & Christian Huebler).

Today we present the second episode with knowbotiq:

The exhibition “Technoschamanism” can be seen until March 6 at the HMKV in Dortmund.

On display are works by Morehshin Allahyari, Joseph Beuys, Mariechen Danz, Anja Dornieden & Juan David González Monroy,  Lucile Olympe Haute,  knowbotiq, Sahej Rahal, Tabita Rezaire, Jana Kerima Stolzer & Lex Rütten, Transformella (aLifveForm fed and cared for by JP Raether), Suzanne Treister and Anton Vidokle.
