Mira Lu Kovacs (Schmieds Puls, 5K HD), Sophie Lindinger (Leyya), Nastasja Ronck (Lucid Kid) and Kathrin Kolleritsch (Kerosin95) joint ventures in the beginning of 2019 and started My Ugly Clementine.  And everybody loves the band from Vienna – including Kaput. 

Their debut album „Vitamin C“ is a musically fresh and lyrically intelligent work in the tradition of late 80s / early 90s college rock and grunge.

Whats else is there to report from My Ugly Clementine? In June they gonna release a special Spotify-Acoustic-Session; they also run an entertaining podcast named „Peptalk“; and band member Kovacs recorded on top a solo album – including a cover version of Enyas „Only Time“.

All that in mind we are super grateful that they did find time to conduct a “Thank Me Later” playlist. Kate Tempest, Feist, Mavi Phoenix, Mac Miller, Ilgen-Nur and Little Simz are among the Schmankerl on the list. A list that was originally prepared for the tour bus: “We would be touring now through Germany and Austria – and we were looking forward to this a lot. Well, it’s only postponed – until then stay save and healthy.”
